Privacy Policy
CreaditVideo ("we", "our", or "the application") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling data transparently. This Privacy Policy outlines how our application accesses, processes, stores, and protects information when interacting with Google and YouTube services.
1. Information We Process
When an operator authorizes CreaditVideo using Google OAuth, the application may access and process the following categories of information:
- Google OAuth Authorization Data: OAuth tokens (access tokens and refresh tokens) necessary to authenticate and maintain authorized API connections.
- YouTube Channel Information: YouTube channel identifiers (Channel ID) and channel names to verify authorization and direct upload destinations.
- Video Information: Video identifiers, upload status, processing status, and publishing state.
- Publishing Metadata: Video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails created or approved for publication.
2. Purpose of Data Processing
All data processed by CreaditVideo is strictly used to deliver core operational functionality, including:
- Authenticating the operator and verifying that the connected YouTube channel is authorized.
- Uploading video files directly to the authorized YouTube channel.
- Verifying upload success and monitoring video processing progress.
- Scheduling private videos for coordinated future publication according to operator instructions.
- Logging operational publishing history to troubleshoot errors and ensure workflow reliability.
3. Data Storage & Security
We implement strict security practices to safeguard all processed information:
- Encrypted Credential Storage: OAuth tokens and credentials are encrypted using operating system-level encryption (such as Windows Data Protection API - DPAPI) in protected local storage.
- No Public Exposure: Tokens, client secrets, and sensitive credentials are never stored in public repositories, logs, or unencrypted text files.
- Restricted Operational Access: Access to credentials and API endpoints is limited strictly to authorized operational runtime tasks.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure
CreaditVideo maintains a strict policy regarding data privacy:
- No Sale of Data: CreaditVideo does not sell, rent, or trade Google user data to any third party under any circumstances.
- No Advertising or Tracking: We do not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.
- Functional Use Only: Data obtained through Google APIs is utilized solely to facilitate the video publishing and management features requested by the operator.
5. Data Retention
- Operational Records: High-level publishing status logs (such as upload timestamps and project IDs) may be maintained locally to provide operational history and prevent duplicate uploads.
- OAuth Tokens: Authentication tokens are retained locally only as long as necessary for ongoing authorized operations. They are promptly removed upon revocation, replacement, or deletion by the operator.
6. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
CreaditVideo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
